Yeah, he was right in the real nice section of east Boca. Meisner Park is just a couple of blocks walk if you use the alleys behind the big buildings.

I didn't want to bring this up but my friend and I did a free audition to try and get a night or two a week there. We played for a couple of hours, but things did not work out. The people at the bar kept saying they couldn't hear the music and the people in the dining room kept saying we where too loud.

Its a difficult room to play because they never figure on live music when they build these places. The bar was all marble and glass, and the actual dining area was carpet. I moved my speakers all over the place but I just couldn't get it right.

In the end they had "kareoke/track" performers there. Also, at the bar you had a lot of young kids who could care less about Sinatra etc.... And most places would rather just pay for one person who uses backround tracks instead of paying for two guys playing "live".
