The shadowing on thier necks all match as if the sun was to thier back at a 2 to 3 o'clock position in front of the photographer (to the left shoulder of capone-luciano) and thier faces are all partially backlit, so if it is a photoshop someone put a lot of effort in to it.


Even when you look beneath the water, you can see what type of bathing suits they were wearing. The style that is visible just beneath the surface of the water matches the styles you would find in the 1930s or late 1920s.

Really of all the pictures widely known of all three individuals pictured there, no other photos look quite like the way the three of them are pictured there, as if the photos were borrowed and copy/pasted into a pool scene. The likenesses of the three of them at the pool all look original.
