I think it's interesting that at the end of this article on Steve Traitz Jr passing away, Scott mentions that the two Traitz sons have subsequently lined up behind Borgesi and thus must be at least a part of this whole group of union support that Georgie Boy has. Also makes me wonder if the Philly Mob has in some way shape or form have some sort of control over the Roofers Union. I've mentioned on the board before that there have been several things I've noticed indicating that while the Philly family might not outright control unions like they used to they have influence and backing (IATSE Stagehands, Laborers/Carpenters, and Iron Workers). Supposedly Ray Wags is a point guy down at the Convention Center and Gaeton Lucibello has some hand in the Iron Workers for starters. Ciancaglini's are involved with the Stagehands and I speculate Johnny Chang might have some behind the scenes sway there.
