We don't need to start changing our money to make lame political statements, which all this is. In addition to what I said above about some eventually pushing for some gay or transgender on a bill, how long before people want Washington or Jefferson off bills and coins because they owned slaves? It's stupid all the way around.
All changes to our money have been political statements. Always has been. Before we had Lincoln on our pennies we had Native Americans. Before Jefferson was on our nickels we had buffaloes. Before Franklin Roosevelt was on our dimes it was lady liberty. It's a normal process and it's not new.
