It started out where they thought it was school bus related but turns out, as I understand it, LAUSD school board member got e-mail threatening many of the schools with backpacks with bombs and gun violence. Superintendent decided to close all LAUSD schools. So far, looks like author of e-mail claimed to be a devout Muslim BUT authorities said he didn't capitalize "Allah" along with other things he did not reference that make them think he was NOT Muslim. Also, e-mail showed from Germany,but authorities think it was routed thru Germany, but possibly written in the US.

Btw, NYC got same/similar e-mail and dismissed as hoax. As result criticized LA super for closing schools. No offense, but in this case, NYC should STFU. (respectfully) LOL lol
