Look on Crescant Street, just off of Queensboro Plaza ( thats where the trains are) - its a train station.
Crescant Street has several Hotels just two blocks from that train station. One Stop from Manhatten. Train goes over the Queensboro Bridge ( which is now called the Ed Koch Bridge) - and your in the city.
