That was hard to swallow. Especially given Eddie's boxing partnership with the Westside. He and Cockeyed Nick were partners for years. And we're always talking about how close the Lucchese/Genovese relationship is in the Bronx/Westchester area (and in East Harlem years ago).

Anyway, Nick was dead by the time Buddy got hit. If he was still alive, I really don't think Eddie would have gotten swayed like that. But that's just conjecture. Because as it is, the Westside is the most homegrown family. And if you think back to Eddie's betrayal, I guess it's for a reason.
