But the power was always right there before Ducks lost his mind during the Commission case. East Harlem, East Bronx, Southern Westchester. A slow progression north. Those animals in Brooklyn set that family back ten years. But the old Salerno crew's close ties to the Westside, especially through their construction partnerships, insured that the power would end up back where it belonged. This isn't a geographical boast. I wouldn't piss on most wiseguys if they were on fire. But the right guy is clearly running things in that family smoother than anyone has since before the Commission case.
