My girlfriend landed in Paris and was taking a train here to Bretagne just after it started. She had to get a taxi and stay at a friends place. She says it's unbelievable on the streets, a war zone. She's so lucky that she was also in Paris going to the airport during the Charlie Hebdo strike. She said it's nothing compared to this one, that the streets are crazy now.

I feel a little different about going about your business regardless of circumstances though, I don't see it as whether the terrorists won or not, but that everybody has a date when they are going to check out. We can take safety precautions in life but we can't live in fear.
