How the Obama administration tried to shut down the Gibson Guitar Company (maker of the Gibson Les Paul and other big name and highly desirable guitars) because it donates to Republican causes allegedly because it purchased endangered wood (it didn't). Meanwhile, rival Martin Guitar Company, which uses the same exact wood and is a big Democratic donor, was left alone. Gibson was forced to pay $350,000 to settle or be run out of business.
