Mafia 2 was meant to be on Playstation 2 and xbox, but the company had troubles as their provider filed for bankruptcy, which cause the game from having a 2006 release date to the 2010 date. They found a new provider and jumped the gun with their announcement in 2007 saying it was almost ready. It was ready, just not with the Playstation 3 and xbox 360, and the team could not fix the crossover properly. Mafia 2 was supposed to have 22 chapters instead of 15, with the years 46-57, instead of 43-51. The first chapter was added and works perfectly cause it was done using the new generation console command controls, it is one of the two chapters added in the finale finish of the game.
Rumor, Mafia 3 will have 4 of the deleted chapters in it. Clay is said to be born a Barbaro.
