very dangerous ground.
What about the childrens cancer ward at your local hospital. What do they, have they
ever contributed to society? Nothing but a financial burden for society. And most of them will just continue to do so then die.
Wouldnt society be better off without them?
Or are their deaths not a loss?
What about the old, the physically disabled? The mentally disabled? The sick etc etc?
Measuring life in monetary context is a slippery slope. One you dont want to go down.
No matter the 'ifs' or 'buts'.
