Martin Scorsese was once quoted as saying that the most realistic film ever made about Italian-Americans was "Fatso," directed by Anne Bancroft (whose given name was Anna Maria Louisa Italiano), and starring Dom DeLuise. I'm sure you can find the quote on Google.

And I happen to agree with him. It's an hysterical black comedy, and there's not a single cafone or gangster in the entire film. If you've never seen it, check it out. It's all about family, not "The Family." wink smile
