Oh yea, bringing a non-Italian into an Italian family can be interesting, to put it mildly. LOL I know my family always tried to make the new person comfortable. One of the first things I think they notice is how much and how often we eat.
Plus,Italian families, at least my family (mom's side especially) talked extremely loud. Newbies thought they were yelling. ha ha ha
