It's just sometimes it happens; just in the Irkutsk region in Siberia in Russia where I lived, there was a case when a gangster wanted out of the rackets to start a family; they tracked him down and killed him mutilating him with a screw-driver as a symbolic gesture of despising. I thought DiLapi's case was similar. Dmitriy Poroshin and Vyacheslav Gamernik were the ones who killed him I think (that's the thief-in-law Vladimir Tiurin's gang).
