How many Italians here are named after their grandparents? Firstborn boy/girl after husband's parents; 2nd girl/boy after wife's parents.
A few years back I took my daughters to MI for a wedding on their father's side of family; By the time the evening was over, I had introduced them to 3 cousin Tony's, all named after the same grandfather, as was their own father. LOL They asked "How many Tony Noto's are there? Ha ha Oh, and I have a brother and cousins named Tony as well. Big name in Italian circles.

I know a Tony Noto he was with us when I was with the Brooklyn Italians soccer club. I think he is living in New Jersey now.

This group of Notos are from MI and as far as I know have no relatives in NY. But, hey, you never know. I looked up my last names (both married & Maiden) name in NYC and there are lots of listings for each of them.
