MTA: LIRR train strikes 2 cars in Riverhead

RIVERHEAD - An MTA official has confirmed to News 12 that a Long Island Rail Road train has struck two cars in Riverhead.
Police confirm the incident occurred at the intersection of Mill Road and West Main Street.
Numerous units are on the scene.

News 12 Long Island has learned that a total of five people were in the cars at the time of the incident.
There is no information on injuries at this time.
