2nd major fish kill surfaces in Peconic River

In video obtained by News 12, you can see dead bunker fish floating in the water in Riverhead. The fish are causing an odor so bad, its driven residents indoors. (6/16/15)
RIVERHEAD - Officials are investigating the second major fish kill in the Peconic River.

Earlier this month there was another big fish kill in the river.

Riverhead officials believe bluefish are chasing bunker fish up the river, where there is not enough oxygen for them to breathe.
