Larry was never a skipper. I know it is mentioned that he was in some books and possibly in articles but that actually isn´t the case. Larry died in 1968. Both him and Joey were made but not Albert who sometime after Joey´s death transfered his Mafia affiliation to the Genoveses. Albert was then made with that Family. Although it does happen, cases of MADE guys transfering from one Family to another are rare. Albert Gallo has made a ton of money, but most of it came from his eating establishment, not from any rackets. I don´t think he ever was the criminal mastermind type.
