3D printers are in their infancy. They are like what solar energy and electric cars were back in the early 80's. Just wait. From printing a 3D custom toy or a pair of shoes to using a 3D printer to print light weight materials for NASA, liver tissue for patients, and like the electronic arm for the kid like in the article, the possibilities are endless.
