Probably so they won't view her as a threat and maybe they will view her as less intelligent and more likely to say unguarded things around her
I hope that's the case rather than she's "losing it" mentally/emotionally with all she's been thru.
I know they had listening devices to keep track of Rick/gang but I am wondering WHY each person had to have a Q &A video once they arrived? Fishy!

Carol has been through a lot, her character development may be my favorite, she went from a "damsel in distress" type to maybe the most ruthless character in the show.
The people in that town don't seem to be in touch with reality.
