Based on an article I read, the 'Ndrangheta made more money one year than Wal Mart and the Deutsche Bank combined. I think it was in 2013.
Somehow I doubt that..Just because its on the internet doesn't mean its true. How would they even be able to find out an exact number like that anyways?
It's based on drug seizures, money seizures, property worth of said mobsters. Construction contracting revenue, etc...

Definitely. I watched a documentary on them, and they taxed a this huge port for every container they had. They had 2 million containers. In this same port, they were shipping coke from Columbia in the containers. The police seized one conatiner with all these kilos, and it was worth 135 million euros. They said it's just a drop in the bucket of what they ship through the port.
