Ha I find it hard to believe a guy like chang couldn't come up with 100k if someone wanted it loaned... For fucks sake I know people who can come up with that... And they're not part of a major criminal organization. I think its safer to have a smaller number of huge loans out on the street.. Than to have hundreds of different loans on the street but them all being under like 5k..
If you want to shy these days you might as well open up a payday loan spot/ check cashing spot.. Legal shylocking. The westside guys from jersey who got popped recently had this going on. That's how they ran their shy and seemed to work out quite well. Some new age shit.
It's not really about being able to come up with 100k, it is about being able to come up with 100k and have it be affordable.
You have to be extra careful now because it is harder to threaten to kill these people or hurt them physically. They will run to the cops and fuck you over.
It's probably smart to keep the shy amounts lower. You have to price in the fact that some people might just choose not to pay you.
