The game revolves around an undercover operative sent to infiltrate a quarantine zone in a fictional city. It features a zombie-infested, open-world metropolis with a dynamic day and night cycle. It was originally planned to release in 2014, but was pushed back to 2015. Dying Light generally received positive reviews from critics.
