My sons friend makes and acts in his movies. I invested in his first movie because it was shot here in Brooklyn low budget. The script made me laugh and if it hit. I could make almost 20 times what I invested. It did hit so I was happy. He was not as happy because he and his two friends made a little name for themselves in the biz. But they made very little money from it
Saw him years later at my sons birthday party. Started to talk movies with him. I said he should get in touch with my friend Johnny about being in it snd he knows some guys to help with financing.
I guess he did not like the way it would be financed so he did not do it. We want artist to be concerned about the art but not to worry about the money
