Neither Michael Volpe or his car (Honda) was ever found. According to the article, Palermo went to jail for refusing to testify.


He ended up aggreeing to testify.
He said, Accardo was retired,they were just friends, and they never talked business together.

He claimed to have a bad ticker and the feds were instructed to limit his interrogations to 15 min at a time.

I think they were just fishing with Palermo and decided to move on.


I never could understand why accardo had volpe clipped, unless in was in on the burglary, why else would accardo have him killed.
