went to prison for 3 yrs it sucked. over 10+ years ive been free sometimes when I wake up I think I still in a cell specially if im looking at a grey wall. or im sleeping anywhere else then my bed.
I know someone that is not quite a friend but more than an acquaintance, who did 4 1/2 years out of a 6 (or maybe 7) year sentence for shooting someone in the leg in a biker club dispute. He told me the exact same thing. Dreams he is still there, and wakes up expecting to still be there sometimes.
Me, worst I ever had was 4 hours in the drunk tank. That's enough for me. It wasn't the lack of freedom or the other degenerates in the tank, it was that they didn't let me have a harmonica to play.
