My brother just turned 50 himself. He's a hunter (I'm not, although I have done it), and he has a cabin in Liberty.
Coincidentally that is where the dinner is tonight (in Liberty). It's only ten minutes away from me but the idea of driving on icy roads scares the shit out of me now.
You're right about the area being wonderful for my lifestyle, though. It's so much more laidback up here.
