CASH is the way to go. AND the gov't and stores cannot track what you are buying when you use cash as opposed to a debit or credit card.
Maybe, maybe not - but some are sure as hell trying. I can remember making cash purchases from a local Radio Shack and also a local shoe store and they wanted personal info from me, which, frankly, I did not care to give. So I wrote down my name as "Jack Meoff", gave them a real address (not my own) and that was the end of that.
