They teach us lock holds and restraint holds for violent patients. Getting into positions to bend thumbs back and using body weight and technique to take somebody to the floor. These moves are all done in pairs and we have to grapple with the instructors who absolutely love it!! It is totally exhausting. Useful though. Also a good fitness workout
