Years ago though before decent tipping caught on in the UK, service was generally shit. As the idea of good tipping for good service caught on then the quality of service has improved. I cant remember the last time I had bad service.

Of course the whole theory is a no brainer!! I am still not tipping anyone for pouring me a pint though
