I would second the recommendation of Amazon Prime. I got it earlier this spring and started watching Season 1 of NYPD Blue. Then shortly after I joined they added a ton of HBO stuff, which added to my "to watch" list. I only watch from my device when I'm on the treadmill, which does two things: 1) makes me feel less guilty for watching and 2) makes it take much longer to get through any series.
