I have some additional infos on this subject...

There was another member of the 42's named Sharkey Eulo who was a close friend of Pete Nicastro and Carl Torsiello(i missspelled his name in the first post).Giancana was the leader of the trio.Torsiello's wife was sister of Nicastro and Torsiello in later life became legit.

Also Giancana was the best wheelman alright but he wasnt just personal driver for McGurn he used be chauffeur for many Outfit big shots,for example Paul Ricca.McGurn was mostly connected with the Circus gang.

As for Needles Gianola being the hitman in Torrios botched hit...i think thats just a myth.But who knows?!General opinion is that Torrio was hit by the Irish but some say that he was hit by his own gang.
