Forlini’s Restaurant in China Town (used to be Little Italy) off of Canal on Baxter Street. Old school Italian and every family function (death, baptism, communion etc.) was held here for my family. I haven't been there in ten years but hear its still great and it has that old world charm

My uncle owned a building on Baxter, right across the street from the back entrance of Most Precious Blood. I spent A LOT of time on that block back in the '70s and '80s. And Forlini's was always great. The best part about it was that it was off the beaten path of Mulberry and all the fucking tourists smile.
