He's a lying sack of shit without a single redeeming quality. It's touching that he was so worried about Tommy, though. Seeing as that poor guy certainly could have been killed for his old mans transgressions. But Tommy and the rest of the family were of the rare character that people rallied around them instead of turning on them. In turn, they never wanted anything to do with The Fish ever again.
