Joe Bonanno was allowed to live and retire cause he was a founding member, also if the story is true, half of the commission thought he was not behind the plot that Joe had hatch. Galante did blow off the the doors to Frank Costello's mausolum, as well as piss on Tommy Lucchese grave. He was caught around 1 in the morning, but the officer was on the Bonanno's pay roll.
