Gotti throwing those parties was all part of his act, and getting some of the neighborhood people onside really helped him in his strategic battle against the heat. None of the money that paid for all the booze, fireworks and food came out of his or Victoria's pocket anyway. It probably came from hard working people from other similar neighborhoods who were extorted by those bastards.
