I post on a soccer coaching site. One of the threads was under 7 development for youth players.

The last one I made I want to share with you guys.

"When my son was 9 we also found ave J park. It was in a Haitian neighborhood in Brooklyn. Him and I would play their practically when ever we had free time. They played their from morning until it got dark 7 days a week.

We were the only white people there. They made us feel right at home. Especially when they saw we could both really play the game. Later I got a lot of players from there for my team. Whch lead me to also training their players in the central Brooklyn league and all black soccer league.

I used to go under a lot of different names on soccer sites.

One was PassDBall I got that because their guys would hold the ball too much when they played so I was constantly telling them to "pass the ball man"

I had always dreamed of my son Vic and I both playing on the same adult when he became an adult from when he was born . We actually made that dream come true we did that for two years play together."

It just brought back good memories for me, and I wanted to share them.
