Which network canceled the Black Donnely's? It was a good show and could have gone on longer but the Sopranos was in its 6th season
I don't think it was "The Sopranos" as much as it was the fact that it just wasn't very realistic. They set it in the present day. It should have been a period piece set before the gentrification of Hell's Kitchen.
If you walk around the West 50's and 60's today, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Starbucks or a Panera bread. Plus, those kids were a little too young. It should have been a cast in their mid to late 20's, and it should have been set no later than 1990.
But all that said, I still enjoyed it.
