What's up with Perna getting charged with rape and sodomy? You would think these guys around him would shun them for an act like that, if not worse murder....It's mind boggling to me.
Since Perna was involved in the Buffalo family's prostitution rackets I doubt they batted an eye when he was charged for that type of crime. It was a much different time back then, in many circles women were considered second class citizens or worse. It was despicable none the less.
