20 arrests in Turin 'Ndrangheta probe 'Huge control' over tenders in province
(ANSA) - Turin, July 1 - Italian police on Tuesday arrested 20 people in a probe into suspected infiltration by the Calabrian 'Ndrangheta mafia into the legal economy in and around Turin. Police said the Calabrian Mob had managed to gain "huge control" over public-sector tenders in the province of Turin. Some 15 million euros in 'Ndrangheta-linked assets were seized during the course of the operation.
