So is there a huge mob presence in philly currently and are these gangsters out in the open(like at bars and restaurants and social clubs and stuff) and do they have a grip on their territory???????
The Philadelphia family is one of the few, small remaining families left outside New York. The others being in New Jersey, New England, and Chicago. I wouldn't call it a "huge" presence. They have about 50 or so members total but a good chunk of those are either in prison or inactive. The family is a street operation at this point. Mainly gambling.
