I have friends from Asian countries like South Korea, and Hong Kong.

I have known them since they first came to the United States as kids or young adults, and then later became citizens.

I told them how in the United States if a man goes to prison that he can get beat up and raped there.

They were shocked and said how in South Korea and Hong Kong prison rape simply did not happen, and said that sometimes you would hear about small fights between one or two prisoners which were easily controlled; but not full out prison riots like we have had here.
