You young'uns are forgetting "The Gangster Chronicles."

It was a mini-series, made for tv back in the early '80s. Not very factual, and not even all that well acted, but it's a lot of fun to watch. If you can find a copy on ebay (and it's not easy), I recommend it just as a fun popcorn movie.

I loved that show. I thought that Michael Nouri, Joe Penny and Brian Benben did a good job portraying Luciano, Siegal and Lasker (Lansky). And you know who I thought did a really great job portraying his character? Richard Castellano. To me he played Joe The Boss Masseria exactly as I pictured Joe to be from all of the books that I read.

The entire series is very tough to find. I believe that there was a total of 13 episodes.

They have a bogus 2 hour cut down version which was edited and renamed The Gangster Wars, but it leaves out way too much!

Don Cardi cool

Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.
