He would have ended up under Maranzano and probably washed up under Joseph Profaci and become a very powerfull Colombo gangster. And if he did stay in New York, he probably wouldn't have died of syphilis, maybe not even get convicted on tax evasion and certainly not be sentenced to 11 years.
