Being followed by "The Stratton Story". The movie is usually made fun of for being one of those really sappy biopics made popular in the '40s, but it's best part (for me) was when the opposing team started to bunt on the invalid Stratton.
I'm watching that now, too. I've also seen it at least half-a-dozen times. I just love Jimmy Stewart .
That makes three of us. I happened to stumble on it last night and watched it. Yes, it's sappy and overly sentimental, but Jimmy Stewart, Frank Morgan, June Allyson and Agnes Moorehead can do wonders on the screen.
