It's a something that goes back to the days of Ancient Rome; but there's some truth to it. My Italian friends did not say that all or most Italian men are bisexual; but sexuality will eventually be proven to be genetic.
Most Italian men love women. Even more than french people so you're friend must be a secret gay, no offense.
Do you even know what it means to be bisexual? It means that the person is sexually and/or romantically attracted to both genders that means women and men.
