Lots of bad news lately with relatives and friends. My cousin, who is only a year older than me, had a stroke over Easter. Although she retains full use of her body she has lost her ability of speech. Her sentences are mixed up and she forgets words. The docs seem to think it has something to do with treatment for her thyroid gland she received a couple of years back. A damn shame and a total shock, she being so young and more like a sister to me than a cousin
