The worst thing is that the ones who actually did the killing of Giuseppe Di Matteo were all treated with leniency because of turning informants. The one who pulled the rope, Vincenzo Chiodo, got only 18 years and he is probably already out as he has to do only 1/4 of the sentence in prison, he can do the rest under house arrest and, as for what does "house arrest" in Italy mean, it's rather an argument for jokes.
