Also, there have been films distributed of people being murdered for other reasons than money. There are several videos of the Chechen Wars in Russian were the Chechens behead Russian soldiers. There are also several videos of Russian neo Nazis beating or killing non-Russians by stabbing, beheading, etc...and apparently this was all done for free. There are also videos like those by the Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs (who were behind 3 guys one hammer). The also had a video where the capture a pregnant women and cut the kid out of her body. (thankfully that one has not made the internet.)They were ethnic Russians who lived in Ukraine. In short, if you ever see anyone from Russia or a surrounding area with a video camera.....RUN
Also, it is worth mentioning that you don't have to like snuff to be a sicko. Just read about the kind of shit that they put on Ghetto Gaggers.
You don't have to be from Eastern Europe to be involved in that kind of disgusting filth. Sickos exist in any country in any ethnicity. In Belgium there was Marc Dutroux who's a convicted child rapist, torturer and murderer. He has been brought into connection with a child pornography network that spanned several countries and Western and Central Europe. God knows what else they did.
It's important to note that there are relatively few cases like that to be found (which are still far too many of course). And the cases I have read about involving child porn (or maybe snuff for that matter) were always ran by individual sickos without any ties to traditional organized crime.
